Interior Design Trends 2021

What a better way to kick off the Eden & Co. blog then by sharing predictions for design trends in 2021. Last year, we saw natural color palettes steal the scene, while grey continued to go out with warm tones making a subtle statement. This year, here are my predictions:

Natural Cane

Last year, we saw cane make a comeback and this year, I think we will continue to see more cane! I love the simple texture it brings, while being natural.

Design: Crate and Barrel

Curved + Artistic Furniture

This one I am very excited about! Even if the industry doesn’t shift this way, you will be seeing me design more spaces with curved furniture. I love how it adds a level of elegance and beauty to an interior. I love adding interesting furniture pieces that act as art.

Fluted Details

Another trend I see making a come back in 2021, is fluted details! I love how it gives visual texture and adds drama to a space.

Curved Island

Curved Island, yes you heard me right! Not the traditional one you might be thinking of, but I think arches and curved lines will continue to make their mark in 2021.

Bold Patterns

I think the pandemic of 2020 has really pushed people to staying in their comfort zone. As things hopefully go back to our new normal, I can see risk taking with fun wallpaper and with bold patterns stealing the show. I also see dramatic marble, such as pink and green with checkered patterns making a come back!
