Young Living Wedding Venue Reveal
Welcome to Young Living’s spectacular Wedding Venue! This space includes a large receiving hall that can seat around 250 people, a pristine kitchen - perfect for catering, as well as a bridal suite. We hope you enjoy gawking at it as much as we do!
The Wedding Venue was phase 2 of the Young Living Farm’s property. Happy couples can get married and hold their formal receptions here. This was a very special and personal project for Mary Young. For this project, we embraced the Tudor style. We gave this German design a modern twist.
The Venue is complete with a showstopping kitchen, perfect for catering! Rest assured, this is not your typical commercial kitchen, though it does have a mop sink and two massive commercial refrigerators. Stealing the show is a custom brass metal hood equipped with removable rivets for servicing. A fire suppression system and a grease trap are hidden beneath the cabinetry. It was so fun to pull off all the grimy details of a commercial kitchen in a beautifully hidden way while still adhering to ADA standards. Real walnut was used in this space, not the normal laminate. We also did a quatrefoil cutout on the top of the cabinets. This detail is authentic to the Tudor period.
The Wedding Venue is located next to a jousting arena where tournaments are held. To highlight this, jousting imagery was incorporated in the space as well as in the branding and graphics. To keep the whole Farm Complex cohesive, we weaved in some of the modern farmhouse design elements from the Bed & Breakfast.
A massive indoor/outdoor fireplace is featured. It provides a direct view of the stunning Mona Lake. The glass for this expansive fireplace is 5 feet tall by 5 feet wide and over 1,000 lbs! You won’t be surprised to hear that it took 4 men to install it.
