Old Cedar Drive Reveal

This month, we are sharing our reveal of a small yet upscale project that was personal.

This was a very special project for me. The client was my best friend 25 years ago. I moved across the country and went to design school. She graduated and became an attorney. Stars aligned and we just happened to live 5 minutes away from each other. It was the perfect storm!

Don’t you love a good before and after? The couple wanted to transform this space into something sophisticated yet comfortable.

We merged the couple’s separate styles, deciding on creamy whites, and wood tones throughout. The goal was a relaxed space where they could still entertain.

After choosing the concepts, they were ready to move out of the idea phase and onto selection! We chose durable and scale-appropriate pieces that made coming home feel like returning to their personal oasis. This was crucial for the client, as they both have demanding work environments.

I love seeing our client’s vision come to life in their installation process. This project was especially fun to do for a childhood friend.
